Qualinization activators / Fillers
Zinkoxyd
aktiv and Zinc Oxide Transparent are highly effective Qualinization
activators. Increasing their loading increases the activity
of the Qualinization system. Also effective as light-colored reinforcing
fillers. For highly elastic or transparent Qualinizates,
sulfur-free rubber goods cured with metal oxides and articles
for food contact applications.
Qualisil S and Qualisil N are used mainly for hard, transparent,
light or colored rubber goods and as ingredients of RFS
bonding systems.
Qualisil C and Qualisil A1 are not suitable for transparent
articles.

Peptizing
agent
Highly
effective non-dusting chemical formulation for reducing mastication
times substantially, thus increasing mixing capacity and
reducing costs.
Renacit 11/WG is particularly recommended as a peptizer
for NR but is also suitable for SR. Renacit 11/WG is mainly
used for mastication in internal mixers or mixing mills in the
presence or absence of carbon black.

Synthetic
plasticizers
For
improving the low temperature flexibility and resilience of Qualinizates.
Some of these plasticizers also improve the processing properties
and tack of compounds. Others additionally improve the hot air
resistance of the Qualinizates. For technical goods based
on natural or synthetic rubber (especially NBR or CR) e.
g. hoses and seals for vehicles, aircraft and machinery in general,
molded and extruded articles, roll covers, conveyor and
transmission belting, cable sheathing and proofings.

Bonding
agents
Desmodur
RE and RFE are reactive isocyanates which give very stable bonds
between rubber and fabrics or metals and are suitable for
natural rubber and almost all commonly used synthetic rubbers
except silicone rubber.
Cohedur A and H 30 act as methylene donors and Cohedur RS
and RK as resorcinol components in three-component bonding
systems (resorcinol, methylene donor and reinforcing silica).
For the manufacture of compounds for bonding textiles, metal
cord, glass fabrics and glass cord to rubber. Suitable for
all types of rubber except silicone rubber.

uniform cell structure.
Porofor TSH, Genitron ACR, Genitron ER 75 and Porofor ADC/M-C1
used for odorless, porous articles (sponge rubber, closed-cell
sponge rubber and microcellular rubber). Porofor ADC/M-C1 is particularly
suitable for articles which are Qualinized at higher temperatures.
A number of low-dust grades
are
available.
